Choose one of your peer's sentence outlines, and restate, in your own words, the claim being made (the thesis) and the arguments that will support it (expressed in the topic sentences). To create an effective paraphrase of your peer's outline without reusing much of the original wording, try this technique:
1.Read the outline a few times, until you feel like you have a good understanding of it.
2.Put it aside and don't look back at it as you write your paraphrase.
Below paragraph is what needs to response to:
Today the human population consumes over 56 billion animals per year, and one in four people in the world suffer from mental illness.
Implementing a plant-based diet will have a positive effect on a person's mental health in areas including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, body image, self-esteem, stress, mood stability, and general mood. The first backing statement to this claim has to do with the important role that vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, and fiber plays in brain function and blood sugar control. Second, plant-based foods have the highest concentration in chemicals in the brain that combat oxidative stress and are precursors to the creation of dopamine (brain's happy neurotransmitter). Last, whole foods and meals that are high in carbs and low in animal products reduce the amount of chemicals that make an
individual feel suicidal, depressed, and tired.
