EEOC - The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)

1. EEOC - The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) provides guidance on coverage and responsibility requirements for staffing firms and their client organizations. They are also responsible for enforcing the Civil Rights Act, the ADEA, and the ADA.
2. OFCCP - The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs is a branch of the Department of Labor. OFCCP, as it is today, was created in 1978 with Executive Order 12086 by President Jimmy Carter through a consolidation of all the Affirmative Action enforcement responsibilities at each federal agency with Executive Order 11246 to the United States Secretary of Labor.
