ASSESSMENT The module is 100% coursework assessed. Students’ achievement of learning outcomes will normally be measured through an individual written assignment.
1 and 2 Brief. 
Assignment 1 brief 
Individual Analysis (70%)
The assignment will constitute a 2000 word analysis. You are asked to choose one from the topic choices below:

You are expected to conduct a literature review and analysis around the chosen topic and display clear evidence of extensive research into organisation case examples. 
You are asked to identify issues, challenges, approaches and best practice initiatives and their impact, where relevant
It is expected that in completing the assignment you should make extensive reference to the relevant literature; any references cited must be included in a reference list at the end of the assignment, and the quality reading material will be evaluated in the assessment of the assignment
It is also expected that you make extensive use of internet sources in researching information on organisation case examples and the business environment.
Assignment 2 brief  
Reflective Writing Task (30%)
Students will write up a 1000 word reflection about how they have developed individual managerial skills and learning, to date, and future ideas and plans for further personal and professional development relevant to this role.
The objective of this reflective writing process is to consider the part that reflection plays in learning and understanding and the importance of reflection to professionals. Students are aiming to achieve levels of reflection so as to produce greater depths of understanding.
