In other words, the purpose of this essay is to inform the reader how to volunteer through a specific agency in order to perform a specific volunteer task/job. This can be one that you have volunteered for in the past, or it can be about one that you would consider volunteering for in the future. The one major requirement is that you must be able to find source information for the agency and volunteering process on the Internet. If you currently volunteer to help clean your church or mow your elderly grandfather’s yard, I’m very proud of you, and that’s very admirable, but you can’t write about that. There is no agency associated with mowing your grandfather’s yard (more than likely). You must select a well-known agency, such as Salvation Army, Red Cross, Lee County Humane Society, United Way, Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, etc. Then, you must select a way to volunteer within that agency, such as volunteer in the soup kitchen, food bank, thrift store, sort clothes, clean dog cages, etc. Remember, whatever the volunteering position is, you must be able to find reference information about it online
