Participants and Ethics

Participants and Ethics
Part I:  Regardless of your type of study, every researcher must assume some type of minimal risk to their participants.  What does minimal risk mean?  Describe in general the basic ethical considerations in dealing with research participants.
Part II:  Please restate your research questions, your target population, and your sampling frame (that is, the individuals from whom you plan on selecting or soliciting participants for your dissertation). Discuss whether your participants can be considered to belong to a vulnerable population. What ethical considerations will you have to address with your participants given the nature of your design or study, and what steps will you take to minimize any potential risks?
