The small group assignment requires each group to write a Marketing plan using digital marketing techniques and strategy for a business of your choice. Innovative approaches, such as choosing a business that does not currently use digital, will be appropriately rewarded in grades.
Ground Rules for the Small Group Assignment:
Groups are self-selecting; two or three (2-3) members only per group. Note that individual submissions or submissions by groups of four or more will result in a deduction of 10% of the original mark for each group member.
Note that a process of Self and Peer Assessment is used for group work assignments; it is a means to stress the importance of working as part of a small group to complete a task. See the companion document (available on the Moodle site for MN5056), which must be completed by each candidate on the course. Any group member assessed by their group as not undertaking an active and fair part of the assessment may be subject to a deduction of marks.
The document should be of 3,500 words, + 10% is allowed. The bibliography, tables and diagrams are excluded from the word count, in-text referencing is included, thats why you get a +10% allowance.
A bibliography is required.
The Document should follow the general layout of a marketing plan.
Sources must be acknowledged; a bibliography is required. We prefer the so-called Harvard system of in-text referencing (Author, Year) as used by the APA. References to relevant marketing literature and arts organizations are deemed as highly appropriate for a full and complete response. Work will be assessed, in part, on the quality of the sources.
