Choose one story from the list below and find at least two scholarly articles about the story and integrate what you learned from them in your essay. Try the SPC Library data base or Google Scholar. Wikipedia, SparkNotes, encyclopedias, and other sites that offer short-cuts are not acceptable for this assignment. You are being asked to use your own skills to understand and interpret this story.

Essay Instructions: Paragraph 1--a fully-developed paragraph (200 words minimum), where you identify the following elements:

Be sure to discuss how your researched interpretations of the story compare to your own interpretations (if there is disagreement).
5. Correctly cite the sources of your researched interpretations. You will find information regarding correct citation protocol in the Student Resources folder on the content menu. Be sure to use SPELL CHECK and proof read your essay.
