• The point of the paper is NOT to summarize the movie plot (although a short summary is
necessary) but to find examples of social psychology phenomenon in the movie and to make
connections between the course content and the movie. You must describe the phenomenon/concept/principle and then explain how that scene, line,
and/or character fits the description you provided. You are expected to find a variety (7 or more
connections to course content) of examples/phenomenon.
• The entire paper must be 5-7 pages in length, typed-double spaced, and in a Microsoft Word
compatible format. The paper is worth 100 points.
• The movie paper should follow APA format -- 1” margins throughout the document and be
double-spaced using 12-point Times (Times New Roman) font (any other font will NOT be
accepted).
• Paragraph spacing should be set at “0” This allows for the entire paper to be double spaced and
no additional spaces between paragraphs.
• A title page is not necessary. Be sure to include a reference page and cite the movie and any
other sources you use in your paper (e.g., the text book).
• Please use the rubric below as a guide to how you can earn points when completing your paper.
