Design a Contemporary Arts Museum and curate an art exhibition.
Create a powerpoint of 4-7 slides. Insert jpegs into the ppt. file.
Choose an existing building to be your new contemporary arts museum, i.e. the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, Spain.
(Links to an external site.) Download a picture of the museum and copy it into your powerpoint slide. Label the image: Architect, building title, location and date.  Insert jpegs into your file.
Curate an exhibition representing at least three different media (other than architecture): Choose three artworks in three different media, i.e. sculpture, drawing, painting. Select works from official museum websites only.
Insert images of each artwork and label it fully: artist's name, title, date, media, location.  Next, describe the steps that the artist took in creating the artwork. Apply new terms from the chapters on media, i.e. sculpture in the round, carving, subtractive process, etc.
Define and explain each step in creating the artwork with each media and technique (i.e. hollow-casting in bronze). For hollow-casting, there could be a total of 10 steps, beginning with creating the model, etc. See your textbook for specific steps.
