JESUS MOVIE REVIEW
Watch the Movie below which presents a reenactment of Jesus' life : - Risen (2016)
Complete a 1,000-1,200 word (4 - 4 ½ pages) review of what you watched (long and short papers will be penalized). Also, please use double space and 12-point font..
Your paper must contain the following 5 elements in this order with about equal treatment of each (you may label them):
1) your overall reaction to the production (like a movie review.)
2) a comparison of the movie to the Bible. Take 1 of the 4 Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, OR John) and compare what is in the movie to that particular book. Note what fits well and any significant discrepancies.
3) what you learned about the life and customs of Jesus' day (food,buildings, transportation, clothes, religious activities, etc. )
4) an analysis of the actor who portrayed Jesus. Did he do a good job or not? Was he realistic based on what the Bible tells us? How did he match up with your ideas about the way Jesus looked and acted?
5) an analysis of ONE other character in the movie, your choice. Think about one you liked the most or least or who made an impression on you! Explain why
