Report on the motivation for, and impact of, colonial rule in one country.
Choosing a country that has not been ruled by more than one colonial power as the history will be less complicated.
Be specific about the environmental, economic and political factors which motivated colonialism and consider how this related to changing modes of production in the colony and the imperial power.
Think about both the immediate impacts of colonialism as well as the long term effects on national development
